Government General Degree College Salboni College Library was started along with the establishment of the college to cater to the academic and research needs of the Faculty, Research Scholars, Students and Non-teaching Staff. The library occupies a prominent position in the college and is considered an integral part of the teaching-learning process. The reading area of the Library is spacious, peaceful and furnished with comfortable furniture. The Library has a rich collection of publications which includes books, newspapers and magazines etc. The Library which was started with an initial collection of 875 books in the year 2014 has now more than 6000 books in its collection on various subjects offered by the college. Computerization of the Library is done. It provides various services to its users and conducts activities for the benefit of its users. The Library is under CCTV surveillance. The library is managed and financed by the college as per the recommendation of the Library Sub-Committee.
